Ideally located across the street from the Long Island Railroad station, Arbor has a private, outdoor dining patio with chic, wooden tables and lounging sofas and chairs for sipping cocktails. I am so thrilled to be returning to Arbor for brunch. I had a terrific experience for dinner just about two months ago, and brunch was also an impressive dining occasion.
The centerpiece of the restaurant’s indoor dining space is a glass-encased wine “cellar.” A very impressive space and the only one of its type in the Hamptons, where over 1,500 bottles can be stored at any given time. Arbor is also home to wine dispensers behind their sumptuous bar that chill red and white wine at the precise temperature.
Prix-Fixe Brunch & Rose at Arbor is $28.95 per person and includes one brunch cocktail, Viennoiseries basket, a starter course and a main course. I chose a classic mojito and my husband had the Arbor Beer on draft. Additional drink selections include a Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Bellini, and Sparkling Rose as well as a selection of juices and soft drinks.
Our bread course, the Viennoiseries basket, was a selection of Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, Toasted Brioche. According to the menu, banana bread is an item included in the bread basket, but I did not have the opportunity to taste it. Perhaps since we arrived early it was still baking. The mini croissants were the perfect size for Sarah; everything was so fresh, warm, and delicious. For our first course, we had the Goodale feta, seabean, raita dressing salad; and the Tomato Panzanela Tartar: French bean salad.
