Valentine’s Day is almost upon us. Whether you are celebrating with that special someone, close friends, family, or perhaps a long lost connection, I have curated a list of some of my favorite sweets to enjoy on Cupid’s Day and even all winter, from local sweet treat to a specialty food favorite.

When I started purchasing nut butters lest my typical crunchy peanut butter, I always just assumed to use them as an alternative to spread on English muffins, toast, and other breakfast breads. Ever since I discovered Brownie Brittle at the Summer Fancy Food Show, I have been hooked on its sweet, crispy crunchy texture. I love the innovation of creating scrumptious, brittle squares that you could take anywhere with and enjoy almost anytime. Once I pop open a bag, it is so tough to place the bag in the cupboard.
