Designer Lisa Jackson, whose fans include Vera Wang, Renee Zellweger, Allison Janney, Kelly Preston and Robin Wright, returns to the Hamptons with LJ CROSS, her much sought-after fine jewelry collection. This season, Jackson has presented Diamonds for the Beach, an exclusive selection of 10 luxury rose gold and white gold pieces, available only at the lifestyle concept store Copious Row’s new Southampton location.
Lisa Jackson’s chic uptown independent boutique LJ CROSS, located on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side, features her signature line of fine jewelry. Jackson designs fashion driven statement pieces in rose and white gold with champagne and white diamonds, pearls and other precious stones. Each piece evokes her minimalist style and dramatic sense of scale to create bold feminine statements.
Below is an exclusive interview with Lisa Jackson, where we discuss her current collection and her favorite spots within the Hamptons.
Describe how you curated your line sold at Copius Row. How does each piece fit into the refined, Hamptons lifestyle?
Laid back luxury for summer. I like to call them diamonds for the beach. All the pieces in the collection can be worn with a white tee and blue jeans straight into night with an organza slip dress. The staples are always rose and white gold but the one of a kind crosses in pale blue chalcedony or carnelian with fire opals are stand outs. A bit of color always dazzles in the summer. Tend to work with blue stones like labradorite, lapis and aquamarine…. think ocean and open skies.
Which are your favorite from the exclusive collection?
The diamond cobblestone cigar band is a favorite, I never take mine off. I have both rose gold with champagne diamonds and white gold with white diamonds. When the sun hits them, they dance! The rose gold diamond feather pendant looks great with a swimsuit…white or charcoal grey deep V Eres!
Tell us about your inspiration between your favorite pieces.
I draw inspiration from traveling the world, looking at architecture and art from different cultures and often from nature. Each piece is handcrafted and feminine. Think mosaic windows of Notre Dame, the cobblestone streets of Belgium and the spice colors in the Souks of Marrakech.
What are some of your favorite spots to dine and relax in the Hamptons?
I love Dopo La Spiaggia in Sag Harbor and San Ambrose in Southampton but mostly I love to chill at home with friends and family always al fresco. Our home is the do drop in, rose always flowing with relaxing and scintillating chatter.
Will you be at/doing any special events out east this summer?
Yes! I am hosting a super fun evening of shopping and rose at Copious Row in Southampton on Saturday, June 24th. (Please see the invite below)
