Vanessa Gordon is the CEO and Founder of East End Taste, a Hamptons-based culinary travel and lifestyle media and event planning company, and the founder and producer of the Hamptons Interactive Brunch. Based full-time in the Hamptons, her work has been featured in The New York Times, Business Insider, BBC, and other international publications.

Vanessa Gordon is the CEO and Founder of East End Taste. In her role, she leads a multifaceted media and event platform at the intersection of sustainable travel, global cuisine, and East End lifestyle, with a strong focus on seasonal coastal destinations.

In 2018, she founded the Hamptons Interactive Brunch, an annual summer event series that has grown into a signature networking gathering for entrepreneurs, business owners, creatives, and industry leaders, blending curated experiences, meaningful connection, and elevated hospitality.

Vanessa is a sought-after voice on travel, lifestyle, parenting, and modern hospitality, with features and bylines appearing in outlets including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, BBC Travel, Travel + Leisure, Success Magazine, Parents, and Business Insider. 

She holds a Master of Arts from NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education and has studied at St. Edmund’s College at the University of Oxford. 

She is based full-time in the Hamptons with her family.

Our History

East End Taste: A Curated Lens on Culinary and Cultural Sophistication

East End Taste was originally born as Vanessa Gordon’s passion project on the East End of Long Island, beginning as a digital destination celebrating the Hamptons’ culinary culture and coastal lifestyle.

 

What started as a local digital publication quickly evolved into a media outlet with a global lens, covering sustainable culinary travel, boutique hospitality, and insider experiences from New York to Europe and beyond. As readership grew, Gordon deepened the brand’s community roots through thoughtful storytelling, spotlighting regional makers, chefs, and venues while cultivating meaningful partnerships with luxury hospitality companies, emerging F&B brands, and cultural institutions, just to name a few.

In 2018, she launched the Hamptons Interactive Brunch, now the brand’s signature experiential summer event series. The event fuses media and high-touch hospitality, introducing chef-driven menus, curated luxury gift bags, and immersive brand activations that attract national attention and recurring sponsorships.

 

Building on that success, East End Taste expanded into experiential marketing and event production, offering press strategy, talent and influencer collaborations, and bespoke on-site experiences for discerning clients.

 

Today, East End Taste stands at the intersection of editorial authority and luxury experiences: rooted in the Hamptons, recognized internationally, and dedicated to storytelling that elevates destinations, celebrates craftsmanship, and creates connections that last well beyond the season.
