Last week on March 3rd, fifteen children had the awesome opportunity of creating their very own sausage pizzas from scratch, donning chef aprons and hats. What is even more awesome is that Camp SoulGrow, founded and lead by Montauk resident, London Rosiere, is completely free for each of the fifteen students that were lucky to take part in this workshop.
The children learned the steps to make their own yummy personalized pizzas, in addition to decorating their pizza boxes, and even learned some Italian words and made their parents cards. Lastly, they also made a wooden banner for Sausages Pizza and Pastabilities in appreciation of their hospitality.
Sausages Pizza and Pastabilities, locally owned and operated by Barbara Kelsey and son Hunter since 2004, is located right in the heart of town (781 Montauk State Pkwy) and is a true friend of the community. Offering free delivery and open from 11-9pm every day (except Tuesdays), Sausages Pizza and Pastabilities is a true staple and greatly loved in Montauk, especially in the winter. The children of Camp SoulGrow had a wonderful time at Sausages Pizza and Pastabilities and felt lucky to be able to have such a fun and unique experience.
