Lulu Kitchen & Bar is one of our staple dining destinations year round. Located on Sag Harbor’s Main Street, we couldn’t resist stopping in for Long Island Restaurant Week. LI Restaurant Week spans Sunday to Sunday, from November 3rd-10th. Patrons can enjoy a special three-course prix fixe menu for $29.95.

The Restaurant Week menu at Lulu was just what we were looking for. The menu evoked their signature, high quality dishes that explode with flavor and personality. It includes tastes of autumn like succulent squash and their irresistible wood fire meatballs.

LI Restaurant Week Menu

We paired our dinner experience with their house rosé. Our choices for starters included the Paella Croquettes with smoked piquillo aiolis; and Sautéed Butternut Squash with caramelized shallots, harissa honey, pumpkin seeds and horseradish cream. The butternut squash is served in a small cast iron.

Their wood fire roasted meatballs are a true taste of comfort for these chilly evenings. These meatballs are served with with house marinara and goat cheese risotto. The goat cheese risotto is incredibly creamy and warms the belly with every bite. Pair with their baguette and olive oil.

For Restaurant Week, additional entree selections are the Poached Haddock, and Mussels a la Plancha. The Haddock is served with baby bok choy, water chestnuts, sweet drops pepper, and a ginger-lemon-coconut milk broth. The mussels are paired with their hand cut French fries.

Dessert choices include the profiterole, sorbet or ice cream. Ice cream choices are chocolate, vanilla, and salted caramel, with crunchy cookie ‘crumbs’ at the bottom of the glass. Another dessert choice is the half-baked cookie with crème fraîche ice cream ($5 supplement).
