Close to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA is Natural Products Expo West that is held annually on the west coast, highlighting new, innovative, and trending food, beverage, and products with a wellness focus. In its 38th year, it has drawn more than 80,000 industry professionals from all over the world to view the latest new products in the natural and organic marketplace.
We are covering the show remotely this year and recently had the pleasure of being introduced to some new brands and new products from already loved brands. Below you will find a curated selection of new and innovative beverages that are found at this year’s expo. The trade show takes place March 8-11th.
DRY Soda Co.
A creator of culinary-inspired sodas, DRY Soda Co. is offering expo attendees the chance to try and experience DRY Zero Sugar organic sodas, the newest brand under the DRY Soda Company umbrella, and DRY Sparkling summer celebration limited edition bottles in watermelon and pineapple flavors. In the plant-based protein platform, OWYN (Only What You Need) has launched their OWYN Strawberry Banana protein drink, no mixing required! Developed by former professional athletes, Jeff Mroz and Kathryn Moos, OWYN supports balanced nutrition and healthy living and is ideal pre- and post- workouts. Obrigado Coconut Water
Obrigado (“Thank you” in Portuguese) is created from its distinct harvesting process, where the purity of the flavor is maintained as the coconut water is never exposed to air or light. Obrigado is sampling its new flavors as well as speaking to what’s to come for the brand as it grows its presence across the U.S. Recently, Obrigado has signed a distribution deal with Hudson Distributors, which serves more than 15,000 retail locations in the Northeast, to distribute its premium coconut water throughout the east coast. Cheribundi will introduce their new “100% Tart Cherry Juice,” and their brand redesign. Attendees will be the first to try the “100% Tart Cherry Juice,” which contains 60 tart cherries in every serving, is not from concentrate, and has no added sugars.
