Wolffer Estate

As we approach Thanksgiving where cuffing season is in full swing and families join around the fireplace to share stories and pumpkin pie, Long Island is where to be. Below we’ve culled our five favorite activities you and your loved ones can do together this November.

Fairview Farm at Mecox

Everybody knows that the quintessential fall family activity is pumpkin picking, but it doesn’t have to be as basic as it sounds. At Fair View Farm, in Bridgehampton, they offer a wide array of seasonal recreations through Sunday, November 11th like a ten foot tall corn maze with views of the Atlantic ocean. You can even meet their farmers who can show you how they grow fresh tomatoes, cut flowers, and delicious baked pies.

Long Island Haunted Houses

From October 30th through the end of November, this spooktacular company is producing an array of fall festivities from a Ghost and Mayhem Walking Tour in Manhattan (Nov. 2nd), to a Murder Mystery Dinner in Bethpage (Nov. 3rd), and much more.

Long Island Restaurant Week

Nothing screams autumn comfort more than delicious, hearty meals at some of our favorite restaurants. So, tis’ the season to eat your heart out during a week long restaurant marathon. From November 4th through November 11th you can enjoy ‘8 days of deals’. All 150 participating restaurants are offering 3 course prix-fixe meals for $29.95. Now you can try all those dishes on your bucket list with a less expensive menu.
