Mixology enthusiasts, get excited! Foxwoods Resort Casino’s popular Wonder of the Cocktail returns June 19-21 with a culinary and cocktail affair featuring a resort-wide celebration of free-flowing spirits, entertainment, epicurean experiences and intimate liquor tastings. Food and beverage professionals, spirit enthusiasts and foodies alike will taste exceptional liquors and wines, learn from global experts at master class seminars and dine with some of Connecticut’s top chefs.

The Wonder of the Cocktail brings together the best of the best,” said Foxwoods Resort Casino Vice President of Food & Beverage Christina Clifton. “Last year’s inaugural event was such a success, and we are thrilled to host even more esteemed mixologists, brand ambassadors and chefs this year to provide this one-of-a-kind experience.”
Programming includes a Welcome Reception, Booze and Bets, Sip-Savor-Swagger, a Splash Into Summer Pool Party, a Grand Tasting and so much more. At Booze and Bets on Wednesday the 19th, enjoy premium cocktails from Johnnie Walker Black Label and Salute American Vodka while experiencing world-class gaming at Foxwoods’ table games including blackjack, roulette, craps and Texas Hold’em.
For the Grand Tasting on Friday the 21st, this grand finale will encompass every facet of The Wonder of the Cocktail featuring the world’s finest spirits. Upgrade to a VIP package for access to the Luxe Room, featuring hand-selected brands that truly belong beyond the velvet rope.
Pop-up bars throughout the resort offering mimosas, bloody marys and the latest in lifestyle energy drinks are included in ticket packages to keep the festivities going and refresh spirits.
A series of master class seminar topics are also scheduled for Thursday, June 20, where industry professionals and spirit enthusiasts will learn the rich histories of liquor brands with intimate and interactive tastings led by global experts.
Topics and speakers include: The Art of Blending with Diplomático Rum’s National Ambassador, Manny Peña; the Agave Lab with Diageo Reserve’s National Educator of Latin Spirits, Jorge Raptis, who will review the rich history of Mexico and tequila, with focus on highland tequilas Don Julio and DeLeón; Westland: American Single Malt Ambassador Jason Cousins who will provide an in-depth look into Westland, where he will debunk the myth that Westland is a replica of Scottish Whiskey and prove how the brand is leading the emergence of an entirely new category of single malt whiskey; and the Johnnie Walker Blending Lab that will be an educational and hands-on blending experience to learn about the art of blending and all things Johnnie Walker.
