Fridays at the Living Room: Live Music, Cocktails and Signature Swedish Meatballs

As the autumn weather swiftly approaches the Hamptons, it becomes time to cozy up inside, listen to some great music, and sip tempting cocktails among family and friends. The Living Room restaurant kicks off the weekend every Friday with live music by Alfredo Merat and friends, cocktail specials and Chef Mathias Brogie’s specialty Swedish meatballs with creamy potato mash, lingonberry jam and creamy gravy for $20 all night. This special began yesterday, Friday, October 17. After Work bar specials are available daily from 5 to 7 p.m. Bring your friends, co-workers, and family over to enjoy half-priced food items and cocktails from the bar menu, select beer ($5), and house wines ($9).

My husband, my daughter, and I celebrated the beginning of the weekend at The Living Room restaurant while enjoying a glass of wine, one of their specialty cocktails, and their oh-so mouth watering Swedish meatballs. If you have not been here yet, it is about time you stop by!

We sat at a quiet table in their side room. I love the European, eclectic décor inside. It very is intellectual and soothing, perfect for a quiet dinner. While dining, we noticed guests sitting on their front porch, lounging about, and enjoying the sunset and the winding down of the day. My husband had a glass of their California Chardonnay to pair with his meatballs and I had their Bellini Martini  artfully prepared with Tito’s vodka, fresh lime juice, white peach purée topped with prosecco ($18). The martini was not sweet at all, had a full body flavor, and a refreshing taste of the peach purée. Other cocktails on the menu include the Lavender Tom Collins made with Fords gin, lavender infused syrup, homemade sour mix and a splash of soda, and the Skinny Rita with Sauza blue agave tequila, homemade honey syrup, fresh lime juice, and organic agave nectar.

If you come to The Living Room, you will undoubtedly have a top-notch dining experience, including a comfortable yet vibrant dining area, an exquisite menu, and cordial staff members attending to you.

Half-priced, select menu items include:

  • Grilled “Living Room” Oysters- Lemon Beurre Blanc and shallots
