Come visit Sag Harbor’s harborside resort, Baron’s Cove, for Happy Hour Sunday thru Friday from 4:00-7:00pm. Complete your afternoon with a Baron’s Burger: 8 oz house blend, hand cut fries, choice of cheese (only $10), Jalapeño Poppers ($1/each), Chef’s Daily Cheese Selection ($6), and my favorite, the Buffalo Popcorn Shrimp with blue cheese dipping sauce ($6). Don’t skip the hand cut fries, they are the best in the harbor!
You may wish to pair your cocktail with a complimentary bowl of popcorn and lounge next to the fire on their poolside deck space. Glasses of wine or just $6/glass, tap beers including Montauk IPA and Brooklyn Pumpkin Ale are $5/glass, and The Daily Drink (bartender’s creation) is $10.
New cocktails for the holidays are The Deadly Baron crafted with Sangria Cider Punch, bourbon, white wine, apple cider, and pumpkin spices. That specialty drink will be available to purchase by the bottle ($20) on Halloween. In the martini glass is the Poison Rose made with gin, lemon and orange juice, egg white, and creme de noir (berry liquor), and in the wine glass is the Hemo-goblin with Campari Spritz, Blanc Lime (French sparkling white wine), club soda, and blackberry.
Baron’s also has a lounge menu where you may choose to sit opposite the bar in one of their cozy chairs surrounded by old-world nautical charm. The lounge menu is available from 12-9pm and includes a Chicken BLT ($17), Crispy Point Judith Calamari ($15), Rock Shrimp Rigatoni ($25), and their daily soup selection.
If you wish to stay for dinner, it is available 5:00-10:00pm (Friday and Saturday), and 5:00-9:00pm (Sunday-Thursday).
