When we search for luxury hotels, the first amenities that come to mind are the spectacular hotel room views, the impeccable service, and overall grandeur. As we look to where to travel in 2019, let the cuisine in your hotel awaken your inspiration for that region. Here are some of our favorite hotels around the world with notable cuisine experiences that distinctively reflect their province or state.

Kilkea Castle, Castledermot

Kilkea Castle, located less than an hour away from Dublin, Ireland, appeals to all palates and taste buds. They offer fine dining in the Castle, with an emphasis on sourcing local ingredients from local and ethical suppliers all with a hint of international flavor. Hermione’s Restaurant on the property has gorgeous views of the garden and is very popular for Sunday Lunch that features a menu that highlights the bounties and traditions of Ireland.

For afternoon tea, visit the Drawing Room with some of the best views from inside the castle. The Drawing Room offers a wide selection of specialty teas, delicate finger sandwiches, warm homemade scones with jam and a lashing of fresh cream, complimented by a glass of chilled champagne. For an even more sophisticated culinary experience, guests may also enjoy the grandeur found in the Dining Room, which overlooks the Rose Garden and 18th hole.
