Townline BBQ, located in Sagaponack, is one of my favorite spots to drop in for an impromptu lunch and bar bite. This rustic, laid-back local’s favorite is open thru lunch and dinner, so you could stop in after work, for an mid-afternoon snack or for an after dinner drink and dessert. I usually come in for lunch and order my favorite combo plate: Brisket, Pulled Pork, Corn Bread and Collard Greens. For dessert, my go-to is a slice of their super-moist German Chocolate Cake, and my most recent is their Birthday Cake with colorful sugar sprinkles. The atmosphere is so relaxing and chill, I never feel rushed. I always like to sit in the seats adjacent to the parking lot or outside during the warmer months.
I recently paid a visit to Townline BBQ to learn about their new menu offerings and specials. New to the menu for football season is their loaded pulled pork nachos dressed with sliced jalapeños, cheese, and sour cream.
Football and happy hour specials are now in play! Specials are available Thursday and Friday from 4-7 pm and Saturday, Sunday and Monday all day. These specials are only available at the bar. Free pool is offered during happy hour.
Beer and wine specials include Draught of the Day: $5 Pints/$15 Pitcher, $4 12 oz. Cans of Beer, $3 Lonestar Longnecks, and $6 wine by the glass, in addition to half priced full pint cooler specials.
Bar Snacks and specials for the autumn season include $6 wings, 6 per order with your choice of sauce style: TL Original, Southfork, Ain’t No Tang, Foo-Man-Lou, Dry Bones, Naked, Hab mercy or Sweet n Sassy; $2.50 hush puppies with chipotle mayo (6pcs); and $3 warm pretzels with mustard (2 pcs) all served with free popcorn and peanuts. Also, the Townline Happier Meal: TL Cheeseburger or TL Dog served with fries and a beer ($9).
