Crafting can be a lot of fun. It is also quite time-consuming and requires a special combination of creativity, patience, and knowledge. Fortunately, for those who live in the New England area, there are many crafty local artisans willing to share the fruits of their labor with the public. Some of the best the area has to offer were supplying their wares to eager buyers at the recent Southbury Craft Fair. Handcrafted preserves, candles, soaps, scarves and more were on display this Sunday, October 20th. The fair was held at the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury, CT.
Vermont Country Gourmet was in attendance, offering their delicious homemade pickled vegetables, jams, jellies, local Vermont maple syrup, and kitchenware. For fans of style and bling, Glamour Girl Handbags offered a variety of sizes and styles of purses in their hand-curated collection. Paparazzi’s booth offered fun costume jewelry and accessories. Silk Milk Soapery offered luxurious handmade soaps to keep your skin moisturized all winter long. American Hemp Co. offered high-quality medicinal CBD oils.
A Farmacy Beauty representative offered a selection of the brand’s most popular sellers in skincare. Susan’s Accessories offered handmade scarves and purses made of fine yarns in eye-catching color combinations. Nutmeg Soap Works offered their all-natural cold-pressed soaps and handmade soy candles.
The Southbury Craft Fair was a welcome opportunity to stock up on fall and winter skincare necessities, jewelry, handbags, and other accessories. For those of you who missed the craft fair, all of the vendors mentioned above retail their products online. No matter where you live, show your support to our craftspeople and buy local!
