I had the grand opportunity to try a selection of their celebrated caramels. The Gray & Smoked Salt Caramels are presented in a stylish box tied with a green ribbon. I was complimented with a twenty pieces of salted caramels: 10 Gray and 10 Smoked Salt. The gray caramels are slow-cooked and dipped in dark chocolate and finished with a sprinkling of gray sea salt. The smoked salt caramels are enrobed in deep milk chocolate and finished with sea salt that is lightly smoked over Welsh oak.
Their best-selling and award-winning Gray and Smoked Salt Caramels feature a harmonious blend of complex flavors – rich smooth chocolate, soft buttery caramel and the unexpected boldness of the gray and smoked salts.
The Gray Salt Caramels are dipped in 64% dark chocolate and finished with sea salt harvested off the coast of Brittany, France. The Smoked Salt Caramels are dipped in 38% deep milk chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt smoked over Welsh oak.
All of the caramels are made with non-gmo, organic and gluten-free ingredients. The company first introduced the gray salt caramels in 1999.
