Well, you soon can stay on the palace grounds! Airelles is delighted to announce the much anticipated Airelles Château de Versailles, Le Grand Contrôle. The new hotel property will welcome its first guests in the spring of 2020.
This is the latest opening for the luxury hotel collection which already includes Les Airelles in Courchevel, France; La Bastide in Gordes, France; and, opening in December of 2019, Mademoiselle in the ski resort region of the French Alps, Val d’Isere, France.

As well as a private spa, guests will also be able to indulge in a sublime restaurant led by Alain Ducasse who has been a partner in the exciting project from the very beginning.

Sunny weather returned just in time to provide a bright and warm four days for Mattituck’s 65th Annual Strawberry Festival hosted by the Mattituck Lions Club. A new Long Island summer tradition kicked off this month as the first bi-annual North Meets South Festival took place on June 8th and 9th at the Long Island Sports Park in Calverton. Hosted by North Fork Event Co., the festival featured over a hundred vendors from the north and south forks displaying the full abundance of the East End. Crowds were able to wander through the 80-acre venue to patronize creators of local food, drink, and crafts.
