4 Spring Beauty Brands We Love This Month

From head to toe, we are loving our upgraded spring beauty regiment. We have revealed the four beauty brands we love and can’t stop using to beautify our daily routine.

What would our skin do without Piperberry? Piperberry is a skincare company that uses adaptogens to help balance cortisol levels and help prevent the reduction of collagen and other signs of inflammation. These adaptogens are found in plant-based ingredients such as licorice root, sea buckthorn and holy basil. Piperberry’s beauty products are vegan, nontoxic, organic, and sustainable. We are particularly loving their Kale Protein Cleanser as a daily facial and neck cleanser. The cleanser is gentle enough to be used twice a day.

No B.S. Skincare

This spring, we are especially loving their Charcoal Detox Peel-Off Mask. This activated charcoal treatment draws out the toxins that build up in your skin, with lasting purified results. Garden cress extract catalyses the skin’s detoxifying system, and introduces antioxidants, while squalane retains moisture without clogging your pores. This treatment works as a deep cleanser, balancing oily skin and treating breakouts (even before they happen). The mask is a lifesaver for someone who perhaps continues to have acne breakouts in adulthood. You may also choose to use the peel-off mask in more affected/acne prone areas of the skin like the forehead, nose, or chin. No B.S. Skincare also sells serums, cleansers, moisturizers, and masks. +Made in the USA!

Face Halo

Face Halo is simply a product that everyone must own! We are especially grateful for discovering Face Halo during the month that also celebrates Earth Day. A game changer for makeup removal, these reusable circular pads gently remove makeup seamlessly with just water. Non-toxic and reusable, Face Halo replaces up to 500 single-use makeup wipes. They can be washed up to 200 times. No need to rub or scrub!

Baby Foot

Baby Foot sells a variety of foot masks and socks to make foot treatments easier than you ever imagined. In particular, their Original Exfoliation Foot Peel is the perfect way to complement a relaxing day in with your feet up. This easy 1-hour treatment will make your feet as smooth as a baby’s. The  lavender-scented foot peel is complete with 16 natural extracts that simultaneously exfoliate and moisturize. Each package comes with two booties. Simply slip them on, cover them with socks, and be ready to enjoy your smoothest feet ever. The booties are suitable for both men and women.

Dinner at The Merrion Hotel Dublin

The Merrion Hotel is the epicenter of festive and luxurious dining in Dublin. The Hotel, located in Merrion Square, is steps or minutes away from Grafton Street, Trinity College/The Book of Kells, and Chester Beatty. There are several dining options inside from an intimate cocktail bar to a two star Michelin restaurant. We dined at The Garden Room on this particular evening. The Garden Room, led by Executive Chef Ed Cooney, serves delightfully whimsical artisan dishes. The dishes quite literally pop off the plate. Not only is everything so delicious, the presentation and unique concepts are hard to come by elsewhere.

The Garden Room is family friendly, and lovingly pays great attention to the menu for their youngest guests. Their lunch and dinner menu includes diverse selections like a Grilled Dubliner Cheddar Cheese and Baby Tomato Toastie, and Steamed Filet of Cod.

Save The Duck

Save The Duck® jackets are the jackets that everyone should own at least one of. With styles for the whole family, including a Disney Collection inspired by the 80’s, they are the perfect gift that everyone will cherish. In addition to being a company who loves and respects animals (no down feathers to be found), Save The Duck has several convenient qualities including breathability, waterproof, non-hygienic, and machine washable.

The unique concept that surrounds Save The Duck is that they are 100% animal free and will keep you toasty warm through these upcoming chilly winter months. The jackets are particularly very lightweight, as the lining is filled with PLUMTECH® rather than goose down.  PLUMTECH®  is warmer, more breathable and lighter. Any company who is against animal cruelty is a friend of mine!

While visiting Brooklyn two weeks ago, I saw at least three other individuals wearing Save The Duck jackets. I spoke with one of them and they had nothing but the best to say about their jacket and would recommend the brand to anyone.

One particular detail I noticed is that the jacket transitions well between wearing outside and inside. I was relaxing in the lobby of my hotel and never felt overheated or the need to remove my jacket to feel more comfortable.

They are also ideal for traveling, as the jacket comes with its own carry bag! Each is simple and practical to fold up and take with you anywhere, even your luggage or carry on bag.

I am wearing the women’s Giga Winter Jacket in Green Black, which comes in six different colors ($178).

One of their newest collections is the Green Parka Collection.

Save The Duck is available for purchase directly via their website, Amazon, Zappos, and many other retailers.

The Five Most Delicious Vegan Restaurants in Paris

Paris, The City of Lights. Though it could also easily be known as “The City of Butter and Cheese.” It’s not always easy being vegan in the French capital, but just a few years ago, it would have been nearly impossible to dine out as a vegan or vegetarian.

Thankfully, times are changing, and options are expanding for plant-based diners with a new restaurant seeming to pop up every week. Whether you’re a vegan looking for an eco-friendly option or an omnivore just wanting to try something new, these five restaurants will make even the most steadfast meat-lover change their tune.
