My family and I visited The Clubhouse in East Hampton, the newest and ultimate game experience in the Hamptons that includes mini golf, bowling, an arcade room, a full bar, and dining options. Indoor and outdoor dining experiences are available at The Clubhouse, with an outdoor bar and seating area overlooking the mini golf course and patio. Live musicians play on the patio on select evenings.
During our visit, we did a full tour and played two games of bowling, a round of mini golf, and we ate dinner outside on the patio. Everyone had a blast, our daughter especially. She has been asking us almost everyday to come back to go bowling and play mini golf. Guess who will probably host her birthday party here next year!?
The bowling alley has ten lanes with “themed” games on-screen and large televisions just above the alleys. Bowling is sold by the hour. Nearby, there are two pool tables and three indoor bocce courts. The bowling alley is family-friendly, with automatic bumpers that are set depending upon the player’s preference. The arcade room features over forty games.
The Clubhouse is available for private parties, camps, birthdays, and more! You could book your space with just a few days notice, depending upon popularity.
For our dining experience, we ordered the Oven Baked Soft Pretzel: Salted and served with Mustard and Cheese ($10); and the Chicken Quesadilla with Jack Cheese, Chipotle Aioli and Caramelized Pineapple Salsa ($14). There is also a pulled-pork version of the quesadillas.
The pretzel was so warm and perfectly salted, reminding me of my days in Philadelphia. The quesadillas were also excellent, and a smart pairing with the pineapple salsa. The portions were perfect for the four of us, two adults and two children under the age of 5.
Our specialty cocktails of choice were the Raspberry Mule: Belvedere Ginger Vodka, Lime, Raspberry, Ginger beer; and The B.O.M. (Blood Orange Margarita): Milagro Tequila, Solerno, Fresh Lime Juice, Simple Syrup. Each specialty cocktail is $13.
Our entrees were Penne Alla Vodka with Prosciutto, Onions, Tomatoes and Cream ($18); and the Pan Roasted Atlantic Salmon with a Parsnip Purée and Sautéed Spinach ($26). The penne alla vodka scored very high with our daughter. I particularly loved the delicate taste of the parsnip purée with the salmon, a perfect ‘match’!
Dessert options include the Warm “Clubhouse” Brownie Sundae with Vanilla, Chocolate or Strawberry Ice Cream, Housemade Whipped Cream, Walnuts and Chocolate Sauce; and the House-made Mixed Berry Crisp with Streusel Topping ($10/each).
Other notable dining choices include The Clubhouse Burgers, Prince Edward Island Mussels, and their selection of pizzas and flat breads.
View their full dining menu here. A children’s menu is also available.
